The group branched out into the insurance business and founded Islamic Commercial Insurance Company ltd. in this avenue which have also become very successful in the sector.The Company was incorporated on 18th October 1999 and was allowed to commence business by virtue of the Certificate of Commencement of Business issued by the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies.

A Hossain Group has also invested in company called AIBL Capital Market ltd. Securities which deals in the stock markets of Chittagong as operations into theDhaka Stock Exchange as well. The company offers brokerage services to international institutions, domestic institutions, retail clients and non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs).
