A Hossain Group, alongside managing various business enterprises, is deeply committed to social welfare and community service. As part of its humanitarian efforts, the group provides free medical treatment and family welfare services to the underprivileged people of Bangladesh through Sultan Memorial Hospital.

This hospital is equipped with highly qualified and specialized doctors, modern diagnostic facilities, and 24/7 ambulance services to ensure emergency medical care. The facility consists of two floors, each covering 1,985 square feet, with a total of 50 beds dedicated to critically ill patients. The hospital offers a range of medical services, including general healthcare, maternal and child care, and emergency treatments, aiming to make quality healthcare accessible to those in need. A Hossain Group has future plans to expand the hospital’s capacity and enhance its services with advanced medical technologies.

South East University

Southeast University (SEU) started its journey with a mission to provide world-class education at an affordable cost. Its vision is to flourish as a prestigious seat of learning in the South Asian region by providing ‘Quality Education’ of international standard and focuses on catering the educational needs of the less privileged class of our society. SEU began with only 107 students in 2002 and has now more than 12,000 students under 20 different programs which are designed, reviewed and updated by expert members from home and abroad. Besides our campuses in Banani, our permanent campus at Tejgaon, houses Departments of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Architecture and Textile Engineering.

The university has collaborative agreements with a number of globally renowned universities from overseas. As part of our social commitment, we provide up to full-free education for economically under privileged students who are brilliant, ambitious and deeply engaged in learning. We hope to groom the young minds of today for the leadership of tomorrow. Southeast University is run by a number of administrative bodies and committees headed by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor under the supervision of the Board of Trustees, Southeast University Trust.

One of the objectives of the group is to share progress and prosperity in the business Partners as well as poor people of the society. As appropriate education removes ignorance and bring new opportunity for progress and prosperity of a person, we have set up a number of special free education institutes in Khulna.

“Anwar Hossain High School” for the common people. It has 1,90,575 sq. ft. area. 1,74,240 Sq. ft. for School boundary and 16,335 sq. ft. for teachers colony. Muslim religious education is also being offered free of charge through “Anowar-UL-Ulum Mardrasha” & “Haji Sonamuddin Madrasha”. At present free board and lodging are made available for 500 orphans who study in the above institutes.
